Meet Brandon

My name is Brandon Rutherford. I am married to a wonderful woman and we have a son who has been a blessing to our family, and a joy to everyone who meets him. I have had the pleasure of being the Survivor and Family Advocate for the Dream Again Foundation. I experienced sexual abuse as a child by someone who was very close to me. I felt unsafe for the majority of my life and most importantly shame and guilt. It is such a gift to use what was evil for my life then for good now. I understand the pain and confusion that comes after being sexually, physically, and emotionally abused. I am here to help be an advocate to those who are hurting no matter the age, gender, or orientation. I am passionate about leading those who have been hurt toward healing by relating and caring for victims of any kind of trauma. I thank God for this opportunity and am grateful to help others in this position.
